DoKnow Austin Concert reviews
Great Show, Less Than Stellar COVID Protocols
We're passionate about live music. This was my 4th show at this venue within 9 days, and it was the first to implement vax or COVID test requirements. My initial concern was regarding potential delays due to these new measures. However, the process was surprisingly smooth, although the verification of vax cards was not as thorough as expected. While they did check the cards, the verification process seemed lax, as a self-printed card could have easily passed without detection. For venues mandating such protocols, I anticipated stricter enforcement. It is hoped that they will improve their procedures in the future, as they mandated the requirements but did not consistently enforce them.
The concert itself was incredible, and the venue remains top-notch. Among the 11 outdoor venues I've visited, Ruoff/Deer Creek stands out as the best. I have tickets for 5 upcoming shows at this venue over the next few weeks.
